I’m Margaret van Steenderen, and this is the space where I share my professional journey, insights, and the occasional glimpse into the personal experiences that shape who I am.
I’m an experienced leadership development coach with an MBA and a Master’s in Business Executive Coaching. My focus is on facilitating personal change and neuroplasticity to enhance leadership skills, guiding individuals to reshape their habits and thoughts to become more effective leaders and impactful individuals.
From Tech to Leadership: My Professional Path
My career began in the world of IT, a solid foundation that taught me the value of precision and problem-solving. The transition from managing systems to leading people was a journey of discovery, one that took me from the tech scene to strategic operations to learning and development and talent management.
The Heart of My Work: Learning and Development
Beyond the corporate strategy, I’m passionate about learning and development. I believe deeply in the power of education and coaching to transform lives. Whether creating training programs or guiding leaders, my aim is to foster growth and innovation. Inspired by my husband’s support, I began this academic adventure at 28, eventually leading to two master’s degrees—an MBA and a Master’s in Business Executive Coaching. These degrees have been vital tools in my mission to connect with and inspire others on a deeper level.
A Personal Note: Life Beyond Work
While my professional life is filled with projects, strategies, and continuous learning, away from work, my world revolves around the joys of home life. Married since ’97 to an incredible husband, our lives are enriched by shared experiences and ruled by the lively company of our two dogs and two cats. They keep things interesting and remind us to appreciate the simple joys and remain grounded.
